Bluejack National golf course community is a new development in north Houston, which be anchored by a golf course designed by none other that Tiger Woods. This community is being developed by Beacon Land Development and Lantern Asset Management.

This 755 acre development is located at 4430 S. FM 1286 and will offer golf club members different types of residences, including condominiums, patio homes and cottage, with sizes ranging from 800 to 3,300 square feet and prices between the $350’s and nearly $1.5 million.

The Woodlands-based homebuild Tipler Design & Build LLC will develop 147 standard home in Bluejack National. Six additional custom homebuilders for Bluejack’s 239 lots are expected to be announced in the coming months.

The Spring area in north Houston just keeps growing, as there is a new development underway: Lakes at Creekside. This new master-planned community in Spring, Texas is located on a 286-acre area, on the intersection of Kuykendahl and Hufsmith roads.

Duane Iselt, from Flair development, the developer responsible for these community, said that the community will probably feature around 600-700 homes, along with parks, pathways and other amenities.

Harvest Green is a new master-planned community in Fort Bend County under development thanks to the Johnson Development Corp., the developer behind Cross Creek Ranch, Riverstone, Sienna Plantation and Imperial Sugar Land. 

Johnson Development Corp. just submitted land plans to the city of Houston for several residential neighborhoods within Harvest Green, a 1,300-acre community in Fort Bend County. The first phase of development is expected to include the extension of West Airport Boulevard to Harlem Road, along with construction of several other internal roadways, said Shay Shafie, general manager with Johnson Development.

School construction has also boomed in our city - construction of new high schools in Houston has been announced by Cypress-Fairbanks ISD and Klein ISD.

Satterfield & Pontikes Construction Inc. is the builder behind the $128 new million high school in Cy-Fair district, and the $155-$175 million one in Klein district.

The Cy-Fair high school will be located at FM 529 and Westgreen Boulevard in northwest Houston. It will be built on a 179-acre site, and is intended to serve to about 3,000 students.
