The free spring concert series Rock the Row kicks off in Hughes Landing on March 14 and will run on Thursdays from 7-9 p.m. through March 28 alongside Trailgating, a walk and run held before each concert.

Before each concert, a group meets at Fleet Feet at 1925 Hughes Landing Blvd., The Woodlands, at 6 p.m. for a trail run/walk. Appetizers and refreshments are available before the concert begins at the Hughes Landing Band Shell, according to a news release.

Spring is often considered the season for art lovers — and the springtime calendar in The Woodlands is peppered with events where residents and visitors alike can purchase paintings, photographs, woodworkings, metalworks, jewelry, digital art and sculptures from local artists.

In addition to the signature township event, The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival in April, officials with both Market Street and The Woodlands Township announced the opening of vendor applications for their Fine Arts Show and Arts in the Park events, respectively.
