McVaugh Custom homes has just broken ground on a new modern luxury community in Houston, located in the city’s Westchase district. This new gated community, Royal Oaks Courtyard Villas, is located next to the Royal Oak Country Club.

The high speed train from Houston to Dallas is one step closer of becoming a reality. This could mean that a 4-5 hour drive between the two metro areas could be reduced to a 90-minute train ride.

Texas Central High Speed Railway is the company behind this project, partnering with Central Japan Railway for this undertaking. The Japanese company has experience in working without help from taxes, which is something Texas Central wants to do, according to Robert Eckles, president of the company.
