This time next year as students head back to school, a top-notch, early childhood educational facility will be located within the Bridgeland community, offering parents an enriching environment for their preschoolers.
Primrose School at Bridgeland will add infant care and early childhood education to the already superior education provided by CFISD and Bridgeland schools. Primrose Schools is the first early childhood education organization to earn national accreditation from AdvancED. Utilizing what they describe as a Balanced Learning approach, the school day incorporates science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) making learning fun.
Their website explains how they inspire lightbulb moments by encouraging children to think creatively, compassionately and resourcefully. Jim Tanner, one of the founders of Primrose School at Bridgeland, felt the balance Bridgeland shows for environment, education and family meshed perfectly with Primrose’s tenets.
He chose Bridgeland because it’s the premier master planned community in the Cypress area and it provides the best demographic fit for a great symbiotic relationship. High-quality education is one of the reasons Bridgeland continues to be one of the top-selling communities in the Greater Houston area. Home sales increased 15.6% in the first half of 2018 compared to the first half of 2017. Education has been a central principle of Bridgeland since it was founded in 2006, offering life-long educational opportunities inside the classroom, as well as outside classroom walls in the 11,400 acres of the community property.
Bridgeland is sure to become more appealing to potential homebuyers, with the addition of Primrose. A 12,400 square foot building will house the new, early education center. Conveniently located near the new CY-Fair Fire Station at 18717 Bridgeland Creek Parkway, Primrose School at Bridgeland will be open five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tentative tuition rates will likely range between $260-$320 per week, depending on the age of the child enrolled. An opening date in the first quarter 2019 is anticipated.
