It has just been announced by Houston-based developer PinPoint Commercial that Woodland Creek, a new development in Spring, Texas, located on Sawdust Road, southeast of Sawmill Road will soon break ground.

Woodland Creek will be located on a 75-acre site near the master-planned community of The Woodlands Texas. It will feature high-end residential development, upscale office and commercial space as well as some retail, according to the press release. This new development is planned for completion in five or six years, with a cost surpassing $250 million once it’s completed.

“Our goal is to create a best-in-class mixed-used development,” PinPoint CEO and President John Thompson said. “We are thrilled to begin breaking ground on a beautiful piece of land and look forward to creating an environment that its residents and tenants can be proud of.”

444,000 square feet of the development will be dedicated to office space, while about 52,000 square feet will be for retail. The location will be ideal for restaurants, banks and medical businesses, according to PinPoint officials. There are also plans for single-family homes, apartments and townhomes in Woodland Creek. However, the amount of residential units planned has not been determined.

The first stages of Woodlands Creek, including residential development, office space, utilities and street paving could be ready for the third quarter of this years, while the commercial projects ares till in the design and pre-marketing phase. Woodland Creek will also feature several amenities. Approximately 23 acres of the site, including Panther Branch Creek, will remain in its natural state as a preserve with possible recreational use. The sloping landscape could feature jogging trails and sports fields, PinPoint officials said.
